Game 79 - Montreal Canadiens @ Winnipeg Jets - SAT MAR 30TH 7:00 EST *SURVIVAL MODE*

Weal was also being used on he PP from the time he was acquired while KK was still in the lineup - he’s wasn’t getting those offensive opportunities in Az or Philly.

True. Those teams did not have one of the legit worst power plays in NHL history.

Good argument for all of the zero people saying that.

That line's advanced stats are crazy good. I can't help but think how good the Habs would be if the "first" line was actually the second line while having a more offensively potent first line. Cup contender good is what they'd be.

Bang on , we are missing a Bergeron top line

Easy to find with our drafting stud regime

Source?

I'd prefer Panarin however I think he and Bobrovsky end up in Florida. Luongo will be retiring.

I think Nero does another round of taking on contracts for asset accumulation in the offseason .

Those big fishes arent coming to Montreal . I can see Winnipeg as a trade partner again .

Depends on what happens in CBJ IMO - if it’s a quick playoff exit combined with losing Panarin, Bob and Duchene...they may look to buy offense dangling Wennberg, Jenner etc.

I don’t think that franchise can afford an all out rebuild.

Wennberg intrigues me...he could be a Domi type buy low acquisition for Mtl - he’s a natural C, defensively responsible, question is will his offense ever return from the promise of a couple seasons back?

Why dangle those 2 when that will be part of a limited offence they will have left , and they are priced right ?

They maybe chasing Lee or Skinner to add

Arent the Nucks on the hook for the recapture penalty if he retires ?

Not if done right. All he has to do is show up for training camp, fail physical which he likely would, then get put on LTIR. Both Nucks and Cats would recoup the cap space.
