Definitely a near lock, but Seattle appears to be committed to lose out more than most of these shit ass teams. Nightmare fuel is a leafs win and Seattle loss on Wednesday. Then it comes down to Thursday nights kraken game. Lose and they're 5th last.

But leafs can and will lose and I believe in Calgary
 
Seattle is down to their 3rd string goalie but does it matter? I don’t think so. Neither does have nothing to play for. You’ve basically been watching an entertaining version of ping pong scoreboard watching for a month.

I’ve been there with the Habs. It’s a great distraction but also frustrating as hell

Ahky is our 4th stringer. It's the one tank thing we're doing right.
 
It's the most engaged I've been since keefe was coach. They won like crazy last year but they were average at best and boring as fuck. And I knew they weren't winning shit.

The stakes are far higher here. Top 5 pick vs no top 5 pick is gonna really impact this "retool" and potentially Auston's future with the Leafs. Lots at stake.

I had the game on for two periods and the eye test confirms. When Nylander wasn’t on the ice I didn’t recognize what the Leafs were doing as modern hockey. Knies looked good too.
