Honestly, we need more than that. We need the organization's answer for everything to stop being "get older"

Last year, Florida had 0 top 4 defenders older than 29 and their #5 is our new #3. They had 1 top 9 forward over 30 and he was a deadline addition (Tarasenko).

Morgan Rielly is our youngest top 4 defender and he turns 31 shortly. By the start of the playoffs I would bet that we'll be running at least 4-5 of our top 9 29-30+ yrs old.

We went from young and improving to fucking old in what feels like 2-3 years. The bottom is going to fall out of this faster than we think.

This team has lost every year because they played different in the playoffs to score “playoff goals” and couldn’t score.

They’ve tripled down on that.

Playoff goals are a myth.

Organizational philosophy is the problem not the roster.

The way I interpreted that, he was trying to keep the puck in front of him, not knock it in with the leg, and then he tried to get the stick on it before it went in. Basically the polar opposite of what happens on a kick actually intended to direct the puck in.
