I’m worried about Knies. Would be nice to get an update saying he’s totally fine. The longer it takes, the more nervous I’m getting.

I mean he most likely has been conkied. Which means he could be back anywhere from next week, to three months from now. Doubt we know for certain any time soon.

I'm betting Grebs keeps Knies' spot until he's back at least.

And i gotta say again that Holmberg really impressed last night in his first shot this year with top linemates. And that line might have looked even better with Grebs in the 2nd half than it did with Knies in the first half. Holmberg was 3rd amongst forwards in ice time, with a 67xgf%.

you gotta think coach is salivating of lining up 3 big strong skilled young guys in Knies, McMann, Grebs down the left side, with the 2 skill guys on the other wing.

Knies - Matthews - Domi
McMann - Tavares - Marner
Grebs - Holmberg - Nylander

If we trade to upgrade on Holmberg, or if Minten proves to be better, that's fine, but holmberg in a role where he can concentrate only on being the defensive conscience of the line could still work.

also ironic that Brad will get the credit for making the Leafs tougher, when all of Knies McMann Grebs were handed to him by that little cuck Dubas.

Brad's contributions to the forwards likely ends up being Domi and Lorentz. Unless we insanely keep playing Reaves forever.

The news that Knies is okay is only slightly more newsworthy than Zeke and Berube sharing a brain.
eh I wouldn't read too much into that, yet. conky symptoms can take some time to manifest. if we hear similar things in a few days, then I'd be more optimistic
