It's funny when a team plays too much, it's tired. Not frequently enough, they're rusty.

At the end of the day, it's all excuses. A team of multi-millionaires not taking their jobs seriously enough, and a fat coach powerless to do anything about it other than yap from time to time.

Was speaking mostly about their rusty looking powerplay. Hard to get in a groove there when your games are all fragmented.

With the kind of talent we have overflowing on the first three lines, there's zero excuse for 1 goal on the last 16 PPs, and 0 goals in the period.

These guys are muffled way too much for it to make sense on any level.

Babcock started doing this same type of stupid shit the year we fired him. Busted Marleau was on the ice for every important shift despite being way past his prime, 4th line shifts after goals, etc. At one point we had a way better xg on the road (where Babcock couldn't have his preferred matchup) than we had at home.

Definitely a pattern when a coach is somewhere awhile. They come in coaching freely and aggressively but then turn into fearful little bitches that try to micromanage every little aspect of the game. Keefe has been at that point for a while now. I still think he's a good coach but the blindspots are piling up. It's better when coaches think less.

I also think he's more than a bit of a dink. I know a few people who have run in similar circles over the years and no one has anything good to say about dealing with him.

Any personality loses the room eventually. A bad personality sooner than others.

Its time for a change, regardless of how anyone feels about Keefe as a coach. The results just aren't there, its the easiest way to make a major change to the team. Coaches are wear items, like brake pads or wiper blades.

The team plays like disjointed trash. There are always a couple of pet bums on his teams that he gives far too much responsibility to. The guy can't seem to coach his way out of a paper bag. We only win when the elite guys go nuts, and that's only happened basically 5 times as of the quarter pole mark of the season.

It's kind of a disaster.
