Yeah, that’s usually the case when the team in front of the goalie knows that every decent scoring chance (and some non-scoring chances) is going to end up in the back of their net.

I don't buy that Marner loses his brain there if Woll or Jones is in net. Dumb shit that isn't explained away by the particular goalie in net.

I predicted years ago that Matthews would have at least one season in his career where he’d crack the top-5 in single-season goals (>76).

If he stays healthy, this may be the year. And 72 or more would also be a top-10 goal-scoring season all-time.
