I think the idea of rushing a forward is a bit overrated. But rushing goalies isn't. I understand why they'd be hesitant to toss Hildeby in the show this soon. But he's got some pro experience and is obviously a top two goalie in the organization. With Woll out for awhile they have to toss him in some games I think.

Yeah, I generally agree. But I think euro goalies are built a bit different. This is Hildeby's 3rd season of professional hockey. We're not talking about a kid 18 months removed from stopping pucks off the sticks of 16-17 yr olds. He's been facing men for a while now. Not NHL men, but men none the less.

This has been my dream scenario, yeah. Goalies are best without a thorough pre scout based on several games at the NHL level. Hildeby coming in late season, dominating, leading them to a cup, and becoming a nothing trash goalie in following years. I'd take it.
