That Cowan goal was amazing. He wins the puck battle in his own end, give and go with Roy and carries it through the neutral zone, then passes it to mo and goes to the net.

seems clear that all of maccelli robby and cowboy look very good as top-9 forwards.

so Willy should just sub in for Domi when he comes back.

but also clear that Laughton and Lorentz are a solid 4th line combo.

so the Leafs will be spending $9.1m caphit for Domi/Joshua/Jarnkrok to fight over the 12th roster spot. That's ignoring that that Kampf was in that battle too to start the year so that's an $11.5m caphit for our #12 forward slot.
