GDT #50: JAN 27, 8:00 - TOR @ NSH - CRUNCH TIME

That game did not improve my confidence in Fred at all. He faced very little tough chances and did not look good aside from a few good stops. He's not tracking the puck well, still playing too deep and not great rebound control (which is usually his biggest strength).

Yeah, he's still reacting late to a lot of stuff, jumpy in the crease.

Hilarious, I'm on Twitter this morning and I see a thread about Nylander, no not about his fantastic night, but about his ponytail. Jesus Christ..He was getting ripped for not looking like a hockey player should.
I give up. People are idiots.
Why don't these morons admit they were wrong, and also stop being threatened because of how good-looking he is.

Thoroughly enjoyed last night’s game. Other than a few spurts from them, it felt like we had it under control.

Muzz over Marincin, man. Big improvement, and Muzz looked more mobile and strong than he has at any prior point this year. Sandin looks like a player too, fitting in seamlessly. Engvall can create fucking breakaways out of nothing. It’s amazing. And Willy has really arrived, so fun to see.

He’s a solid second pair guy. Not first pair. But he had a good first game back, especially since he looked offensively interested for the first time all year.

I’ve definitely had my fill of Barrie though, and feel Sandin would do way better in his spot.
