Yeah, I hope this is just the flu...we started off the period looking like the globetrotters again and died in the 2nd half.

Yeah, hes got a decent shot but you would sweat it was a missile launcher the way he blindly sets up for it constantly. Doesnt even look to do anything else. If hes open, hes firing
 
This flu shit better clear up this week. Last game they can afford this.

Hopefully they bounce back from that first like they did last night.
 
Seems like they'll need frovember here. I hate using the flu excuse here. They need to be way better than they've been lately. They've been thoroughly mediocre.
 
I'd be interested to know how many of the lengthy Matthews/Marner possessions in the offensive zone culminate in a low-percentage Tyson Barrie slap-shot to the net. And of course, how many shots go wide of the net and how many immediately get smothered by the goalie.

This is where we miss Morgan Rielly. When the puck got to him on those plays, it kept moving to where it needed to go.
 
Eh 3rd in 4 and 4th in 6 and 2nd of back to back on the road against a very well rested (and motivated) team at home is tough enough. If the flu shit is real that makes it worse.

I'm a little annoyed at how strictly Keefe is keeping Barrie with that line tbh.

You said it. They look slow. Tavares, marchment, korshkov, Spezza, Clifford. This is a very slow group up front.
