GDT #63: 2025/3/8 - Homestretch

Only hope left is management realizing that this is their last chance and they fire the coach.

Team is very very much underperforming vs the talent when they get those metrics that the analytics staff there are giving to someone. Are they smart enough to recognize a change in strategy is necessary? Absolutely not!

Eh, they're only underperforming in the nerdies and I think we're all aware of how these guys feel about analytics.

Our ~.905 guy has regressed to being a ~.905 guy and Stolarz still has a .922-.923 after tonight. He's a .918 combined over the last 4 seasons, so that's pretty pretty good still.

That's what the numbers say I guess.

And yeah, he did make some good stops tonight and those guys are pretty good but I thought he should have had at least a couple of those goals.

But what the fuck, it doesn't matter, I have serious doubts that we see the second round again this year and if that happens it might just be enough for me to finally give up on this shit.

It's fucking depressing, that should have been a win.

They’ve been horrible since the 4 nations, and these last 3 games are the worst 3 game stretch they’ve had all season, and probably in a really long time. Haven’t cracked 39% xG once.

There is some kind of tension inside the team, I can clearly see it in body language, specially visible between AM and mucho
