They aren’t going hard after it. Look at how the leafs d have guys all over them as soon as they get the puck in the wall vs all the time the panthers d get. The leafs are all over the place and completely disorganized.

It was a very good period and something to build on. I do agree that Laughton may suck but I'm not sold on thinking Carlo does too. Though he probably isn't what they needed. They are in dire need of more of a two way guy, he's not gonna help their junk ass transition game.

I’ve at least seen Carlo be effective. Looks to me like Laughton might not be a real c. Which is terrible value for that first.

Carlo can certainly defend. Still haven't seen anything that Laughton does well.
