Leafs finally looked like the Leafs again last game, but against the shitty Flyers. Now they get a real test to see where their game is at.

Carolina had a slow start to the year at 14-12-1, but have been back to being elite ever since. This with their always-elite nerdies. And now they have the extra boost of landing the biggest fish at the deadline in Guentzel, and even shitty Kuznetsov looked rejuvenated playing with him. Canes walloped a very good and hot panthers team last time out.

If the Leafs can show me something tonight, they might start winning me back. winning isn't the biggest thing, especially missing marner, but it would sure ease my concerns if the Leafs can go toe to toe with these canes at the moment.

Jarvis is having a great 3rd season and has added regular penalty killer duties to his resume. He's is looking like a solid 2 way player. He has made that 3rd line productive offensively.
