Linemasters, where does he play? You can't mess with either of the top two lines right? Even for the Mexican Ovechkin.

If Auston is in fact healthy enough to play, personally I’d put him back onto the Domi/Bertuzzi line, and drop Mitch down to the 3rd line with Holmberg & Robertson.

The other option, particularly if Matthews really isn’t 100%, is to put him with Holmberg & Robertson and leave the other three lines as they have been the past two games.

True, I guess it all depends on how fragile he is. I worry about Mitch going back to playing like complete doo-doo, but the benefit of having Matthews there might outweigh it. Also just generally nervous about messing with anything major given how solid they've all been in his absence.

I would absolutely stick matthews with holmberg and robby. He has to be back in but at the same time you really don't want to mess with winning lineup. And if need be you can always stack the lines midgame.

Are we all terribly wrong about that guy?
I mean kinda yeah. The Schenn + Boosh evidence is starting to get pretty overwhelming that that type can work real well with Mo.

That being said, i'm sure Mo would do even better with another top pair dman, but it's always nice to get good bang for buck by virtue of a great "fit" somewhere in the lineup.

Holmberg is strong below the line and is smart enough to feed those two.

and i really do think Robby and Matthews likely have a good feel for where each other will go in the offensive zone, scoring wise.

that being said, you know it'll be gregor in for Robby even if keefe does choose to put matthews on that line.

man would it be nice to win, and give our coach the chance to finally ice our best possible forward lineup in round 2 of the playoffs for the first time ever.

McMann - Matthews - Robertson
Knies - Tavares- Nylander
Bertuzzi - Domi - Marner
Dewar/Holmberg - Kampf/Holmberg - Jarnkrok
not that i think he would actually ever do that. no chance Robby would stay in.

My hunch is that Auston isn't playing. I've seen many videos of him skating and can't see him favoring anything so not sure wtf this could be. He clearly can't last long, whatever it is (that's what she said). 10-15 min practices max of him going hard and seemingly not really limited.
