He will be a UFA at the end of the season. Trading him is post season, will get you a low pick and only from the team that signs him.
Robertson shouldn’t be a UFA?

I stand corrected.RFA but the ideal offer sheet player
I mean maybe it's time to admit Robertson isn't that good. Sure they could do a better job of putting him in a position to succeed. The realgud ones make things like that an easy decision for a coach. He's certainly not as good as I had hoped.
Could be a bit of both. Doesn't have to be one or the other. Raz at least excelled as a super elite third pair d. Not sure I've seen Robertson be anything more than competent in any role at the NHL level so far. And even that may be generous.Style of play and opportunity matters. 12 minutes a night on a team that plays a dump and chase style isn't going to get the best out of him.
I remember a bunch of similar arguments after the Sandin trade. maybe we're just shit at development?
I always laughed at the constant idea by our media to upset Leaf fans that Offersheets are the next big thing, but Armstrong's move might really open the doors now. Blues timeline has been sped-up with the 2 they made.RFA but the ideal offer sheet player
OS to star or up and coming players make no sense as you would need a stupid offer to even convince the other team to not matchI always laughed at the constant idea by our media to upset Leaf fans that Offersheets are the next big thing, but Armstrong's move might really open the doors now.
