10gms left. Here we go.

I'm starting to think we've lost 1st place unfortunately. The Bolts have a much easier schedule the rest of the way and we've wasted our recent games against the 2 worst teams in the league.

But we do have 5 measuring stick games left this year - 2 against FLA, 1 against TB, 1 against CAR, and tonight's game against the Kings.

Kings were the hottest team in hockey on a 9-1-0 streak and pounding teams.....until the Avs handled them comfortably last game 4-0.

Kings are the epitome of a "depth" team. 3 good 2nd lines that border on 1st lines. One telling stat about the Kings is that they are the best team in the league at home with only 3 regulation losses at home all year and a 140pt pace.....while sucking balls on the road at a 71pt pace.

This is probably because they're far more dangerous when they can deploy Danault and Kopitar up against the other teams top lines all game long,.

Of course, we're playing them in their house, so this'll be a huge challenge.

I think we'll see them match Danault up against Matthews and Kopitar against Tavares, and then try to win it based on the Byfield vs Domi matchup. Tonight would be a very good time for the 1st line to show up and legitimately win a tough tough matchup, especially since the top line has decided to take the last couple of games off against weak teams.

Don't even know how to order the Kings' lines so I did it to show the matchups i think the Kings will be trying to get:

Too many commercials in hockey nowadays...ruins any potential flow to the game
