GDT: Avalanche @ Maple Leafs @ 7:00pm - Cup Final Preview

Very fair point. It's astonishing how low the standards are of Canadian/American consumers for food. These establishments should not exist. It's not a difficult task to make edible pizza.. maybe the easiest task imaginable. And they managed to fuck it up horrifically. Amazing really.

A bunch of the minor hockey work I've been doing lately has me travelling all over southern ontario and I've come to a few conclusions

1) Every where outside of the GTA is now homogenous. Barrie, Trenton, Lindsay, St Catherines, Orillia, Kingston, etc, etc, etc all the fucking same. Food choices are identical. It's the same chain conglomerate restaurants/take out as the dominant options in every city/town.

2) It's all fucking terrible. All of it. I've started packing my own food when I'm gone for the weekends now and the only places I'll eat out are local greek or "mediterranean" (lol..just say middle eastern bro, c'mon) joints with 4 star or better reviews on the google.

Yeah I'm okay with this. It's a rare consistency with lof food takes.

But lol at thinking any pizza is healthy. It's junk food. All of it.

literally anything>>> Hampton inn breakfast sausage patty.
when I travel for work, I get per diems for meals. If I stay somewhere that has free breakfast, no breakfast per diem.

Homewood Suites breakfast is barely fucking edible. I always go to a cafe down the street instead. And now I have convinced the powers that be to give me a breakfast per diem for this. Huzzah.

I must have missed the post where someone called pizza a cancer fighting superfood.
LOF eats a dry grilled chicken sandwich because it's healthier than food with fat or moisture. He does the same with pizza. It's consistent, but it's dumb. If you're gonna eat pizza, embrace what it is.

Its cause like 50% of consumers never do so while sober

You should go to Hamilton! Their food scene is impressive given its Hamilton. (This is where I travel for work regularly).

So many real burgers out there i dont get why people eat fast food.

Pizza? Superthin crust with top quality ingredients is the only way to go.

Bagle, waffle etc. Are all fine but the sausage is always undercooked.
