This is round 2 of Auston "Calder" Matthews vs. Patrik "Runner up" Laine.

Should be a great game cause there's so much on the line.

Matthews and Laine are head to head on the Calder race, and Leafs and Winnipeg both need the win : Leafs to stay in the playoff position, Jets to get into it.

Too bad Marner is still out, but the Goat has been recalled.

That's the thing...this might be one of the rare cases where the away feed is even worse.

I'm sure the Winnipeg boys will be jerking off Laine with both hands.
 
maybe we need to start petition to remove clowns from SNET and replace them with radio crew or just give all games to TSN
 
Very pleased that Gauthier will be in to replace Smith.

Freddy needs to up his game for this one. If not, I'd be all for giving McElhinney the next start to light a fire under Freddy's ass.

The other teams' feeds are always intolerable.

If their announcers aren't complete ignoramuses, or completely obnoxious, the visual quality of the telecast is piss poor with distant shots or just awful picture. So bad. And then you have fanboys like the Bruins guys or that squealing weasel in Buffalo.
 
i forgot to ask him about millen though. that was dumb.

at least he acknowledges that Hughson stinks.
 
I don't mind any of our guys. Only Hughson rubs the wrong way as it seems he's rooting for the other team. I don't sense bias from any of the others.
 
No excuse not to expose that defense tonight. Kill them with speed

Going to need a solid game from Freddy to help control their offence though. They have no shortage of fire power
