Because they are limited in potential/capability. Unfortunately for the Habs the gimps body is toast & can't do what his high hockey IQ mind wants him to and the 3-yr extension was a mistake as I suspected when announced

yup would of been nice to have his cap off the books this summer , but as most GM`s do , go overboard to keep your own and deal with it later
 
So who will start in nets for the Winter Classic ?

Surely Habs management will let Condon start, no ?
 
It's so fun to know that the most decorated and prestigious team in the history of hockey has to limit it's employment pool to 1/10 of the available qualified candidates
 
Condon should start the Winter Classic.
You are as good as your last game and he did good in Tampa.

I don't see how they can give that game to Scrivens after only one game played with this team.
One game that he lost BTW.

It honestly doesn't matter much who starts in net, neither can pitch a shutout and the Habs can't score.
