GDT: Cane 'em!

Its too bad. He's got the size and the speed. Should be a natural net crasher and play maker. I'd say he's being dragged down my Domi/Holmberg but he's been on most every line by now. What is that intangible he's missing? The will to win?

Robby has the size and speed? That’s what he’s lacking.

Guys like that usually need high end iq to be top end players and he doesn’t have that.

The big difference between Robby and McMann is McMann is big and fast.
 
If you compare Robbie to other small, slow guys that were elite goal scorers in junior like Debrincat and Caufield, those guys are much smarter players than him. They are much better at getting themselves into spots to use their shot and at creating their own shots.
 
He was able to do that last year. He probably still breaks out somewhere where he gets more ice time. But it's pretty depressing watching him here right now.
 
Hes not equipped to play low event plugger hockey and we've decided that's what we are. someone is going to give him an opportunity and he probably ends up being pretty good.
