it was Svech's man though. Not excuse for Burnsie but that was a double failureYou can’t give that up late like that, Burns just watched it.
And what a goal it was! Mr Azek made a puck poo-poo and Staal swept it away.O CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN.... point 700 in game 1300 to tie it up
It reminded me of a goal in the 2002 playoffs, but it went the other way. Weekes thought he had the puck covered, but even from my seat I saw it clearly and Saku Koivu (I think) swept it in.And what a goal it was! Mr Azek made a puck poo-poo and Staal swept it away.
He kept us in the game in the first, his first 2 saves were doozies. Not a great game, but a fantastic finish in OT - Necas and Aho have an amazing thing going. Given time and space with 3-on-3, Necas can really create havoc and find an open Aho - who one-timed a perfect shot. I can't blame any of the goals on Freddie, and in fact I think he looked pretty good, considering it was his first game in months.
It's the Hawks ... there's always a chance.Comsidering the way they played the first, that’s an improbable point.
That was a late career Jordan Staal goal if there ever was one.And what a goal it was! Mr Azek made a puck poo-poo and Staal swept it away.
Aho's just got a thing for finding that little bit of extra room and making himself available. 90% of the forwards in the league rush to the spot in that situation but he held back knowing Necas would draw eyes with the dangle. Good thing they're good at OT, because as bad as the Canes are at shootouts, otherwise they'd be bleeding points. Not a great game, but a fantastic finish in OT - Necas and Aho have an amazing thing going.
