I think he's just been reading the play quicker and getting to the top of the crease sooner. That keeps him from getting stuck deep quite so much. He was struggling with his angles early in the year and then he got gun-shy and played deeper, which caused a different set of problems. He's not that technical, so most of it comes down to confidence with Kochetkov ... and thus far he seems to mostly veer wildly between WAY too much and WAY too littleThe one thing I noticed is he’s not playing as deep in the crease as he had been.
