The Canes social media was all over that this morning. Apparently they're undefeated with that uni combo ... VERY small sample size.

And for the record, I know Dundon hates the traditional uniform (despite the fact that it continues to poll well with fans) and that the Canes were one of the teams who had a refresh delayed by the change in suppliers. Next season we could be looking at truly awful threads, folks, but we're going to be looking at something different. May has well start getting used to it now. Vertical stripes on the socks, maybe. Reflective helmets, possibly. More metallic thread a la the Preds' original jerseys, full on monochromatic Whalers green, American flag pants ... if you steel yourself for something terrible, it'll be less of a shock to the system when it's just garden variety bad. And keep in mind, if it's bad enough then you'll mind less when they inevitably cover half of it up with corporate logos.

Reflective helmets would be great! Silver metallic helmets to go with those black Flag jerseys might look pretty sweet, I loved those buckets the Kings have worn in the past for silver with the black.
