GDT: Canes @ Habs 4/16 7:00

Is this a trend? Because why should he risk injury? Look what Winnipeg did tonight, they played their full lineup and lost Namestnikov in the process. They didn't need a win. Bigger picture.
Yes, it’s a large trend and if injury is a risk, give him some poutine and the night off. 🤪

Yes it wad. Sigh
And The Secret Weapon, Niklas Wallin, on a shot Theodore still hasn’t seen. That was the first of his 3 playoff OT goals. He also scored in game 2 of the 2006 second round series against the Devils. Cory Stillman broke the Habs that year with a OT series winner at Bell Centre. Wallin’s 3rd OT winner was for the Sharks in 2011.

Can the doofuses at the league office get the playoff schedule out now since everything is decided for matchups!!!
Yeah, no. The league office schedule shows a morning meeting on Saturday for setting the playoff schedule and it's basically illegal to alter the office schedule. It would take too many emails

So ... that game went the way everyone knew it would. Decent effort by the Canes, which is all you really wanted last night. Would it have been nice if Kochetkov had broken his string of games where he's got negative expected goals allowed? Yeah. But at least he removed all doubt (if there was any remaining) about who the playoff goalie would be ... aka not him. Otherwise, the AHL guys got some run, Morrow had his best game as an NHLer and nobody got hurt. Even little Fensore got some highlight moments on video (dang, but he's small). Fine.
