The new look Canes take on the Isles.

Someone else can fill in the details, I’m on my phone waiting for my wife to finish at the hairdresser.
 
More questions than answers…will Rantanen and Hall be available…where will they play in Rod’s blendomatic line generator…will TDA be out there for Aho to abuse…so much to await and see by 7:30 tonight!

The expectation is that all 4 traded players will play today. The Avs are in Boston, so there weren’t any travel barriers.
 
Was it Pesce or Skjei that Rantanen spent all game trying to murder a couple of years ago? I forget, but hey ... they're both gone, so ...
 
Gold guessed that Rantanen would play with Aho and Svech. Blake would slide to KK’s right wing and Roslovic would center the 4th line with Jaaska and Hall. Sounds reasonable.
 
A 4th line of Jaaska Roslovic and Hall allows Rod to do some creative things. That 4th line is a good checking line but also has quite a bit of skill. He can create some pretty favorable matchups up and down the lineup now.
 
Moose and Hall are both confirmed in the lineup. RBA will speak to the media at 5:15.

TDA cleared waivers, presumably he’ll be in the Isles lineup. We could see backup Marcus Hogberg tonight. He’s played 6 games, started 4 in Varlamov’s absence. He’s at 1.32/.952.
