FWIW, the Canes have really struggled to control the pace in every game they've played against the Isles since Roy took over. So, no real shock to see that continue, really. They kick the Canes around in the faceoff circle pretty much every time they play, so that's no shock either. Big roster changes, no practice time at all to absorb any of it ... meh. They got a point. Go work on some stuff and figure it out.
Big picture-wise, I thought Rantanen settled in with Aho's line pretty well by the end of the 2nd and Hall looked pretty good with Svech and KK. No real surprises there. Those are smart, experienced players and they'll figure it out in time.
