I got my flu shot yesterday and it wiped be out. Barely made it to the end, but I did. Good win for the boys.

The Kraken fans got a little salty about how many Caniacs were in the beer hall before the game.

They should be up by five given how dominant they have been through the first two periods. Daccord has been excellent.

With the exception of the Tampa Bay game, the Canes should have scored 6,7, even 8 goals!! But, that’s the Canes.

Managed to stay up until the end. Great win by the Canes. Would have liked to see another PP goal with so many chances, but at least both units looked good, and the PK was really solid. Once again, Freddie was excellent and there were no passengers.

I watched the highlights of this game with our boy Johnny Sideburns on the call and on the three goals of ours that really mattered, it's kind of shocking just how bad Seattle's defensive breakdowns were. Svech, wide open with no one even in his zip code. Drury sneaking in wide open with no one even in his area code. Jarvy just doing Jarvy things and has a wide open breakaway. Then yeah, Jordo killed a guy and Orlov hoisted the puck from downtown Tacoma for the empty netter.

Statistically maybe, but perfect would have been if he scored and set a new franchise record. All streaks have to end at some point, though.

Comprehensive butt kicking by Carolina. Solid play up and down the lineup. Daccord kept it from getting out of hand ... barely. And now that I've seen Seattle play, I still don't know what Bylsma is trying to do systems wise.

I mean, I guess. Say what you will about Hakstol, but he had them playing a recognizable, repeatable, fairly effective system. At least for that one game, Seattle seemed to just be out there doing whatever.
