This performance tonight is worthy of an old Paul Maurice bag skate in the morning early!!!

A drinking game tonight every time the Canes have had a giveaway would have us all drunk by now.

Not spotting the other team a 4 goal lead in the first might have been helpful.

Then again, they tend to have at least one game like this against the Leafs every season.

4-13-25 Leafs @ Hurricanes 5:00 p.m. start to decide the regular season series.

Hoping that both teams have their A game working so we get a better contest.

Last night’s game was the first time I really questioned RBA’s decision not to pull Kochetkov to shake up the team and remind Kochetkov that he must be focused. My other question was what was RBA’s effort at getting these guys focused and ready to go at puck drop?
 
Didn't watch since we had our granddaughter and our sweet exchange student with us, and they wanted to watch "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days". The movie was not great, but it was much better than watching last night's fiasco in Toronto.
 
Yeah, terrible start ... which is a pretty deeply set habit coming off of these kinds of breaks. I know Brindy tends to prioritize other stuff and we're short-sighted not to see that his approach works overall, but geez. Even when you know it's coming, it's frustrating to watch them flail around early on in these games after breaks. That said, hopefully they got that out of their system and go play like a freaking NHL team in Montreal.
 
Thanks to a guest of our podcast, Judge Wapner and I got to meet in TO and go to the game, had an amazing experience and pretty good seats. :)

As soon as we went down 3-0 I yelled at him " This is gonna be Canada-Finland all over again" and other than the 2nd ENG, I was 100% spot on.
The boys came out just horrid (I'm looking specifically at Burns who should retire at 900 straight) then sort of caught on in the 2nd, and finally showed up in the 3rd. The Leafs scored 3 in <9 minutes to start the game, the Canes scored 3 in <3 to try to make it even. A lot of the Leafs fans had the butt-pucker going on late after some VERY light chirping throughout (I think in that seat $$ people just don't talk a lot of crap hahaha)

Toronto was an amazing experience and Ray says Hi!
