After the Pens took the lead, I never felt like we were going to win. Lots of shots from way uptown. Ned was very good tonight. We had chances but couldn't convert. Sucks. Do better next time.

Ned…a Vezina caliber goalie against the Canes and a third string guy most of the time otherwise…sigh.

Among goalies that have played more than 2 games against the Canes since he was traded, he has the best GAA and 2nd best Save %, behind Spencer Knight.

Yup ... proving yet again that Ned's issues have always been focus related. If you you can get dialed in enough to stick it to your old team in the middle of the kind of run Ned was on, then you can do it the rest of the time too.
