I didn't realize that - but what a statement for this organization and fan base!Tonight was the team’s 48th consecutive sellout, the last game that didn’t sell out was a full year ago, February 21, 2023.
They took their foot off the gas after Aho’s goal. I hoped Foligno’s goal was a wakeup call, but they must have hit snooze on the alarm. Burns‘ goal came at the end of a fruitless PP, and then the penalty killers lost their minds, leaving Johnson and Bedard all alone. It’s a little concerning, the first period in Vegas was crap, the last 25ish minutes last night were crap. Maybe it was the 3rd game blues after a cross country flight. They stayed in Vegas after the game and flew on Sunday, maybe that disrupted the rhythm. Who knows. But they have to be better on Thursday.I almost felt sorry for the Blackhawks after we took a 4-goal lead - and I felt really bad for Mrazek, who played most of the game without a team in front of him. (Plus, I still love the guy.) But I could sense that we were stepping off the gas late in the game - maybe it was the 3rd game in 4 nights catching up with us. After the 3rd goal by the Hawks, the unease in the arena was palpable. But a win is a win. Rest and get ready for Thursday.
Not me.. polar's word'emI almost felt sorry for the Blackhawks after we took a 4-goal lead - and I felt really bad for Mrazek, who played most of the game without a team in front of him. (Plus, I still love the guy.)
Indeed. Now that they have a new hero, Chicago fans haven't even waited for the team to get good again to get their swagger going again. NEVER feel sorry for a bad team from NY or Chicago. EVER.Not me.. polar's word'em
Except the Bears right?Indeed. Now that they have a new hero, Chicago fans haven't even waited for the team to get good again to get their swagger going again. NEVER feel sorry for a bad team from NY or Chicago. EVER.
I'll make an exception for present company and for the White Sox (for no known reason), but in general no ... because fans of Chicago teams will generally go straight back to being entitled blowhards the second their team is any good. Even freaking Cubs fans, which is a RIOT considering their history.Except the Bears right?
I will never feel sorry for Boston. Or Florida. Or the Rangers. There are others.Oh, forgot to include fans of Boston teams in the list, because they 100% belong there. Honestly, so do LA fans but we live on the opposite coast and are spared much of that bother by the grace of geography.
To be clear ... I'm talking all sports here. I reserve the right to feel a little bad for Marlins fans, presuming their ownership hasn't run them all off yet.I will never feel sorry for Boston. Or Florida. Or the Rangers. There are others.
FTFY.Indeed. Now that they have a new hero, Chicago fans haven't even waited for the team to get good again to get their swagger going again. NEVER feel sorry for a bad team or any Original Six team. EVER.
