Personally, I'm not opposed to putting him with Staal and letting him do grunt work for a bit. He spent much of his rookie year in that role, and I think the biggest message would be ... if you don't drive play, nobody else on this line will and you won't get scoring chances much less points. Now, go do that and we'll see how it goes.
That's the thing with Svech. He's very good at a lot of things, but he's elite at driving play towards scoring areas in the offensive zone. When he's played with others guys who do that also, sometimes he gets a bit lost. And when he's gotten lost thus far in his career, it has taken a very long time for him to dial back in.
