Did everyone remember to “spring forward”? If not, you’re gonna be late.

Thr Logan Stankoven era begins at PNC, he’ll wear #22 and he got Commodore’s (and Sean Hill’s) seal of approval on Twitter yesterday. He was on Aho’s line and PP1 at practice yesterday. Riley Stillman also had an eventful few days. Waived on Thursday, assigned to the Wolves on Friday so he could play there if necessary later this season. Recalled on Saturday, practiced with the team, then sent back to Chicago, replaced by Scott Morrow. Maybe whatever was bothering Orlov on Thursday is still bothering him? He was a full particpant at practice. The other new guy, Mark Jankowski rotated in as the 13th forward on the 4th line with Robinson, Jost and Roslovic (who is back in #96]. So who knows, we won’t find out until RBAs media availability at 2:45.

The Jets are finishing a 4 game tour of the Metro, losing the first to the Isles, then beating the Flyers and Devils on Thursday and Friday. But they’re 7-2-1 in their last 10 and are cruising in the Central with an 8 point lead over Stars and a slim points percentage lead over the Caps for the cursed President’s Trophy. Mark Scheifele leads with 35 goals, Kyle Connor has 33, 2 others have more than 20 and a total of 9 have at least 10. Connor has 47 assists, Josh Morrissey has 41. Connor, Scheifele and Nick Ehlers are averaging more than a point per game. Connor Hellebuyck is a world class goalie, he leads the league in goals against, save % and shutouts at 1.99/.927/6. He played on Friday but he’s played in 48 of their 64 games so we should also see him today. The Jets are 3rd in goals per game, 1st in goals against and PP%. If there is a chink in their armor, it’s the PK, 14th in the league.

Andersen v. Hellebuyck

Morrow in for Orlov, skating with Walker, who looks to be playing his off side. Chatty is playing with Ghost. Jankowski is taking warmups too, I don’t see Jost.

They’ve been through all the dmen and it looks like they’re gonna rotate the 5 regulars with Morrow taking an occasional shift. So he’ll get more than Stillman but it would surprise me if he plays more than 10 minutes.
