After a pretty comprehensive dismantling of the Rangers, sending them to the golf course, the Canes face the Leafs with 2nd in the conference in play. We’ll see what the lineup looks like, I don’t think we’ll see Ghost if he has a back injury. Hall had last night off, we should see him tonight. After missing more than 3 months, Carrier returned to the lineup and had a nice impactful game, assisting on the 2nd goal and delivering 4 hits, 1 fewer than Robinson’s team high. He should stay in the lineup, giving another forward a night off. Andersen faces his former team too.
After a few weeks of trading the Atlantic Divsion lead with the 2 Florida teams, the Leafs have taken charge, 4 points clear of both. A point today locks the Panthers out of the top spot. A regulation win locks the Canes out of 2nd in the conference. William Nylander has 44 goals, Tavares and Matthews have at least 30, future Cane Matthew Knies has 29. Future Cane Mitch Marner has 72 assists, 3rd in the league. With 4 games to play, he’s 2 points away from his first 100 point season, he had 99 in 80 games in 2022-23. We should see Joseph Woll in goal today, Anthony Stolarz played last night. Woll is at 2.76/.907 in 40 games. The Leafs are 9th in goals per game, 13th in goals against. The PP is 6th, the PK is 18th.

Would consider if it wasn't my size, but I was thinking about getting the "new" black before they go and change them next year (guessing) anyway... I had the Stadium Series black and the "old" black, but hadn't gotten the two-flag black jersey yet, so the win was great timing
