Good on the kid to not only get his first ever shutout but that was some genuine off the charts excitement. No one saw that shutout coming after his first two appearances this year.
I heard the bellow he let out when he kicked the last shot into the corner all the way in 325. But my favorite save was the glove save on Tkachuk with about 30 seconds left and then he flipped the puck back at him. After all the douchebaggery Tkachuk perpetuated tonight, he had that coming.

Yeah, it was during a line change, but you can still have only the maximum amount of allowed players on the ice. /shrugLooked like a change to me

Great response last night to a disappointing road trip. I was worried about Martin in net and hoped the boys would play extra hard around him (and they did). He looked really shaky at the start of the game, but he seemed to grow in confidence with each save. I think the mugging he took from the Sens just made him play more inspired. He was undoubtedly the first star, and the arena was full of Martin love by the end of the game.
Carolina has gotten popped for less obvious stuff on sloppy line changes. A fair amount, now that I'm thinking about it. Really weirdly officiated game all around though, so that call fit in with most of the rest. It was an inexperienced crew and it showed.
