I noticed all 3 starts were sens, the guys that scored the goals. Why weren’t any canes given a star?
 
Another lackluster performance. I've seen us play far worse games than this one, but our inability to control the puck and establish a forecheck in recent weeks is very concerning. Give the Sens credit - they played a fast, defensively responsible game.

All I want for Christmas is my Carolina Hurricanes back.
 
Look ... that sucked last night. No way to sugar coat it. And the 2nd line was once again caved in, which is a really bad look for Kotkaniemi ... again. Especially since they got caved in by freaking Ottawa's rickety 3rd line. Carolina's pretty much got to win that matchup, even if that group isn't on top of their game, but ... nah. Just a horrible showing, getting largely out-worked by a team that's absolutely notorious for their lack of work ethic. Yeah, Ullmark stood on his head a bit, but that wasn't the problem. Constantly getting beaten to the spot and losing basically every wall battle all night ... THAT was the problem.
 
Glad I forgot about this one last night. Gold Rush was better entertainment.
