For a moment I was holding out hope that someone else missed the boat and was supposed to be there for that back pass but from Burnsie’s face motions, I think it’s clear he just made an awful play.

Agreed!! But not sure he’d be a great interview! The boys know he was the difference in the game.

The crazies that line up behind Willis and Yates during their end of game broadcast were out in full force last night. If you’re the middle age dude in the whalers jersey and on this board, you were on your A game last night.
Yup. I've been accused of being too harsh on the old fella, but from where I sit the next line/pairing move I want to see is Walker with Slavin and Burnsie down in sheltered minutes caddying for Ghost. I love the guy, but the wheels are coming off.
Also, we eventually got the answer to my question about Drury swapping with KK ... last night was when Brindy had seen enough. Again. Look, I'd seen enough last season, but hey.
It’s like watching Ron Francis and RBA in their last seasons. The rapid, sad decline of a great player.

The thing with RBA and Gleason is that they aren’t trying work with his limitations. He’s still on the top pairing and logging 20+ minutes per game. Never a night off, always on
On paper he has decent stats, but the eye does not match. However, I don’t know how you have that conversation with a guy like Burns, but no way does RBA treat him like Mo and JR treated him.

The KK experiment needs to end here soon if at all possible, flip him for another center because any warm body has to be better then that guy most nights…a frustrating player to no end.
