GDT | Game 1 | @ Maple Leafs | Wednesday, October 11 | 7PM EST

I could see Monahan moving up, with Dvorak as 3C with Anderson on a wing. Gallagher would see a lot of 4th line and press box duty.

I hated him in Halifax. Soft. Lazy. Brain dead. Tall? Sure.
But as lazy of a one way player I’d ever seen. He’s a waste of skin.
I only had a few viewings, so you may have had a better read than I. I was somewhat taken with his potential. But time is moving.....

good loss. Compete, get a point, don't win too many.

Slaf looked better, young guys were decent.

Big takeaway for me is the Leafs are not a cup contender with that defence and goaltending

Those of us who watched him here in junior knew he had the tools. Just wondered if he would put it together. Still wondering.
Players like that are so incredibly frustrating.

You can see that he has the body type, he has the skating, he has the shot. He has every physical gift to be a really good NHLer.

But all that is worthless if the operating system's weak.

We had seasons tickets that memorial cup year. I loved that team. He seemed to float a fair bit. His year prior he looked promising.
I think he fell in love with his own press releases. During the Memorial Cup Run he was MIA.
I HATED Parvy-Hennard at the time. He just was deadly against Halifax. He is a big stage, big game player who will produce under pressure big time. Think of a Neutered Claude Lemieux.
Pinard will have a much more prolific career than Lavoi

Oh, absolutely. That's not even debatable.

Harvey-Pinard might not get to 1,000 games in the NHL, but I could definitely see him playing 10 seasons on 4 different teams before finishing his career in Switzerland. Players like Harvey-Pinard are super useful.
