The last time the Habs were in Phoenix , Anthony Richard was in the lineup and looked like the fastest player on the ice.

Air conditioning and pools
it might actually be "hotter" in Florida with the humidity. That is what always hits me when I go to Florida. I also admit by the end of my holiday, the humidity does not affect me nearly as much as that first woosh after leaving the airport in Orlando ;)

Hot mofo place in the summer , I dont know how people handle 4 months of 100+

I was back in Montreal this summer end of June early July and it was around 90s and I was suffocating. Under 110 in the shade in Phoenix it’s actually not that bad. Yes people, humidity matters.

Now I said in the shade as directly under the sun you’re cooking. But there is AC and pools everywhere, plus it’s the perfect time to travel elsewhere.

Massively OT: Emerging Colorado River agreement will mean 13% less water consumption for CA, NV and AZ. Hydro power (AC!) is prioritized, so pool water might be more expensive in the future…

Just water period. But both Phoenix and Scottsdale took the money offered to give up on Colorado River water for the next 3 years. We'll see what happens.
