Maybe but how many reclamation projects can we handle at the same time? Newhook, Dach and Zegras are all centers that seemingly can't play center. And Laine will not have played for 2 years.

17 points in his last 40 games isn't that great.

Until he gets hurt again . . . If I can get Zegras on the cheap - unlikely - I'm doing it, regardless of his corresponding to our current needs or not.

Yup. There are UFAs to release and contracts to purge. Hopefully some of the guys in Laval can be effective 4th liners, but there are no guarantees.
