GDT | Game 19 | vs Edmonton | Monday, November 18th | 7:30 PM EST

It's not that he calls you names per se. It's what calling you names denotes, which is that to Trump, you are "less than". Once you turn a person into an object of derision, you dehumanize them, which makes it easier for you to not care when bad things are done to them.

The Nazis didn't toss Jews into ovens right away. They first spent years objectifying them so that once they were physically rounded up, people merely shrugged.
Democrats have for years treated blacks and other minorities as helpless victims that can't achieve anything without their help. It's super condescending, and straight up racist. And they're pretty much the only ones actually implementing race based policies.

when I told you I was going to vote Bloc next election, you told me I couldn't

Too often I voted one way because I always had and against the other which was against my best interest. Never again will I vote for a person or party who calls me racist just for being white toxic just because I'm male or that I stole land.
It's amazing how they spend years calling you toxic and the root of all evils in the world and then when needed are asking you to be an ally and support them.

It's not true unless you let it be true.

If you believe there'll be another Kristallnacht then you're even more stupid than I imagined, and I imagined a lot.

You're a fear monger no different than Trump.

Only way two party system has any hope of changing is by abolishing PACs and implementing a system forcing elections to be determined with 30-60 days of calling one
There is hopes for the house, but none for the senate (and obviously the presidency) in the current system.

yeah the American system despite it working for 250 years is flawed in that the Representatives are constantly in election mode and the presidential process can take up to 2 years

The system is designed for government to be a profit generating business. Very little governing can get done when every politician from backbench House representatives to Senators to the President have to spend 90% of their time in office fundraising. You get elected on Tuesday and you have to start fundraising first thing Wednesday morning because you've got 'only' 4 years before the next election.

That’s the whole premise in a “republic of independent states” narrative the United States of America has always been

The post WWII boom made a generation think the system had changed…
