We’ve spent the last few years watching a team with players in roles that are (sometimes well) above their talent level. It’s been gruesome.
This is only now starting to be resolved. Why put Heinemen in a bad spot when he’s just starting to get his mojo in the right spot? He ain’t a fix for the top 6. Maybe next year he gets paired with Beck and we have the makings of a great depth line for years to come.
Hopefully Newhook can be moved to the third line sooner rather than later. This should only help…

You might be right in that he is not a top 6 guy. But I can't be certain at this point. I see some signs of skill. I say go for it. Give him big minutes in scoring situations.
