"Thanks for doing your job".you represent the old guard who didn't clap until 30 seconds to go in 1979 final game 5. You are the last of a dying breed
He will if he stays out of HuGo's way long enough for them to do what they were hired to do.He isn’t maximizing revenue & profit$$$
yep we got screwed in 2021 when goof Legault didn't allow fansHe isn’t maximizing revenue & profit$$$
Covid wasn't Legault's fault. He did the right thing. Pandemics don't care about your team being in a Cup run. The cops shouldn't have allowed people to congregate outside either.yep we got screwed in 2021 when goof Legault didn't allow fans
We clearly don't hate them. We seem very content of being their bitch.we do, but we just bend over and say rival, please ram us in the ass for 60 minutes
once they allowed BLM and Indian farmer protests, the jig was upCovid wasn't Legault's fault. He did the right thing. Pandemics don't care about your team being in a Cup run. The cops shouldn't have allowed people to congregate outside either.
There was a lot of feistiness in yesterday's game that reminded me of the good old days.It saddens me to see that the Habs no longer see Boston as rivals.
23.5% win rate isn't good?Primeau has 12 wins in 51 NHL games.
Of first overallBaldy said we would be in the mix....
Even if Montreal was a destination, Habs were saddled, and still are to a point, with bad salaries. You have to open the wallet and have to strike when the opportunity arises. Habs should have acquired Jiricek. They had the assets. Habs have to take the next step to lure worthwhile UFA when they are available as well. Then perhaps Molson should have studied NHL rebuilds a little better because as they're almost entirely draft-dependent and draft-centric for teams not called the New York Rangers, they take a LONG TIME, not three years. He signed off on this three years ago, so he'll have to endure a few more. Just look at the standings. There hasn't been much movement at the bottom in a good while. There's a reason. NHL rebuilds take too damn long.
They're in both. It's not simply the result, it's the road to get the result as well. Entertainment. They're in the results business and true fans only care about one thing and it isn't face-saving playoff appearances.
Tired of waiting on that last partyou represent the old guard who didn't clap until 30 seconds to go in 1979 final game 5. You are the last of a dying breed
I’m not sold on Jiricek. I’d rather go for a more established player.Even if Montreal was a destination, Habs were saddled, and still are to a point, with bad salaries. UFA is where the majority of your mistakes are madeI’m not sold on Jiricek. I’d rather go for a more established player.
Also there is barely anything worthwhile in the UFAs next summer.
Regimes need to retool every year , understand where you are in the NHL food chain and act accordinglyThen perhaps Molson should have studied NHL rebuilds a little better because as they're almost entirely draft-dependent and draft-centric for teams not called the New York Rangers, they take a LONG TIME, not three years. I feel the same. He looks slow to me not sold on the upside.I’m not sold on Jiricek. I’d rather go for a more established player.

Not big on free agents either but we’ll need some experience and stability at the blue line, someone that can play top 4.UFA is where the majority of your mistakes are made
The once a decade Panarin isnt picking Montreal and a waste to overpay the left overs
Draft and develop your own or pick up vets with short term contracts on strapped teams where you give up minimal
Jiricek is well worth the gamble at the right price
I would take a look at Chychrun in the summer. Not big on free agents either but we’ll need some experience and stability at the blue line, someone that can play top 4.
