Stastny was being a dick and so was Goulet. They let Goulet keep playing.

And the second intermission wasn't a shit show, it was fucking beautiful (aside from the cheap shot by Sleigher on Hamel which started the whole thing, of course)

In any event, having Stastny wouldn't have changed anything. Dan Bouchard played like Red Light Raccicot in the 3rd period. Couldn't stop a beach ball. He always choked in big games, like a goalie version of Mitch Marner.

And the scene outside the Forum after the game was like a mini Cup celebration. Anyone and everyone in a Nordiques jersey was harassed.

There were also plenty of fisticuffs in the south end balcony sections where most Nordiques fans seemed to be concentrated.
 
Pressure on the PP was good...until Slaf flubbed that pass and the Avs cleared it. But way too much passing and no shooting. And when they did finally attempt a shot it was from a low percentage area. The Habs looked busy and dangerous but they didn't really do anything.
