Why would anyone give a first for Allen? He’s a backup.Jake Allen for Cal Pattersen and their 2023 first.
A man can dream, can't he?
The view is fantastic at the top seatingWas at game tonight. First time seeing Habs in regular season play in 34 years.First visit to Montreal in 20.Xmas gift from our son
i must say I was pleasantly surprised by the sight lines in the nosebleeds, 4 rows from the top.I think the view was actually better than the high seats in the old forum.Steeper angle to the ice maybe.
Fun game, but I knew we were in trouble when I saw the Blue uniforms. Also nice if Allen would have made the odd save.....Nice to ride the old Metro again, and just breathe the crisp air of the old town. Gotta go,trying to type on a friggin phone.
To get rid of the goalie they're paying $5M to be starting in the AHL.Why would anyone give a first for Allen? He’s a backup.
Nobody NEEDS Jake Allen. But the Kings need Jake Allen.
Git ‘er dun.
Forgot about Peterson’s contract. That’s a bad one, 2 more years at 5M.To get rid of the goalie they're paying $5M to be starting in the AHL.
Good points but those picks are still 3+ years awayAnd that's the point.
I don't think we're going to be good next season, regardless of who we get in the draft. I don't think we're going to be good either the following year, regardless of who we take in the 2024 draft. And by that time, Peterson's contract as the league's most expensive backup will be up.
This organization has a real opportunity to speed things up by using their free cap space this summer to absorb bad contracts. Call San Jose, see what they're willing to give up for Vlasic. Call Dallas, see what they're willing to give up for Seguin. Call Carolina, see what they're willing to give up for Kotkaniemi, in the most hilarious of plot twists.
Get the firsts & seconds, draft more players, hope that they hit.
