Although it's never bothered me, hockey in the afternoon always felt like either house league (or just kids/teenagers playing in general), junior or Spring playoff games.Afternoon hockey. Never felt right to me.....afternoons seems more suited to baseball.
But that's probably an eastern perspective. You western folks experience the whole time thing differently.
I understand a couple of games a year for the kids on the weekend.Although it's never bothered me, hockey in the afternoon always felt like either house league (or just kids/teenagers playing in general), junior or Spring playoff games.
When the team is this bad I don’t really care if I know the score.I guess I'd be doing a lot of PVRing if I were in the West. But that brings on a whole other set of challenges re knowing the score.

I thought that wasnt allowed.Islanders were playing their fourth game in five nights. I was expecting a regulation win.
His stupid rules are catching up to him.I see it was more like 4 games in 5 1/2 days. Anyway, something isn't quite right with the Islanders, Uncle Lou is gone.

As a little kid I usually wasn't allowed to stay up past the first period (and games always started at 8pm, not 7 like now) The only games I could watch in their entirety were the Saturday afternoon games on NBC.Although it's never bothered me, hockey in the afternoon always felt like either house league (or just kids/teenagers playing in general), junior or Spring playoff games.
