Not really. Hage is a possible 2C and this year’s draft is center heavy in round one. Hagens, Misa, Frondell, McQueen, Desnoyers, Baer, Brien . . .

i think management is already planning for a 2C.....Dach will probably be a winger going forward once they find the 2C

I actually prefer Dach with Cole-Suzuki......and Slaf might end up with Demidov and 2C (whomever that will be)......i think most of us agree than Laine is not a Habs in 2 years, management won't give him 8-9M

It's not that dissimilar to Evans. He was 29 when he signed his contract, just like Evans will be. Contract expiring at 34 doesn't bother me that much but injuries were always the issue with Monahan, and sure enough he's injured again.
