GDT Game 6: VS Dallas, Saturday, October 22, 7:00 PM EST

So Bergevin thought trading for Dvorek was worth more than keeping the first rounder he got for Kotkaniemi. At least that's how I read the trade.

Brilliant. You don't trade first rounders for that kind of return.

Yup , I would of taken the first and moved on

Team got Mesar at 26 with the Calgary pick

I would of taken any forward from 27-32 ahead of KK and waited for development

The 29th pick would have been a very nice place to take Noah Warren (Or rather, Beck at 29, Warren at 33, whatever).

But alas, what's done is done.

That off-season by The Charlatan was the only time where he did things like a chicken with no head.

He went against his principles by signing Hoffman, did a panic trade to get Dvorak, re-signing Armia, didn't both trying to replace either Weber or Price...

Like, I think Danault's grossly overpaid for what he brings, but would I rather have Danault, his bad contract and the 29th pick, or Dvorak? Shit, at least Danault could play the role of shutdown center really effectively.

That was Nero’s moment of desperation
