Maybe he shot because it was Skinner?

And he just won an ot game…

The problem wasn't that they shot but that so many of their shots were right at Skinner's glove. All season the thing that hurts this team is wasting a lot of time passing the puck around trying to set up the perfect one timer, especially on the powerplay. Just shoot the fucking thing. Shoot it low and hard and generate rebounds that your teammates can pounce on. Last night they had too many "one and done" scoring chances. The only time a second chance opportunity was created was when Caufield scored on his own rebound.

But if all they're going to do is fire pucks into the goalie's chest protector or his glove they won't score much.
