Habs would of missed 6 years in a row without Covid

Sabres have a 1-2C and their Keith and Seebrook for the next 7-8 years

WTF , Habs have nothing close to that plus their depth is better

All they need is a legit goalie and they are in the playoffs

6 is still better than 11 AND wuhan did happen so you can't take that glorious 2021 from us.

I'm also sure Pegula would trade our 2013-2023 for the Sabres'.

If the Canadiens aren’t drafting top 4 - I think they would take Mychkov or Carlsson if one of them is available at 3 or 4 - I firmly believe they’re going to draft the big Swiss d-man with their first pick, irrespective of where he’s ranked.

We might squeak into 4th for the ping pong balls. Ducks have a chance to pass us.

Edit: looking at the odds, your point still stands. Finishing 4th in ping pong means you have a 65% chance of getting 5th or 6th pick. 🤨

Moving from 5 to 4 has almost no benefit.

I agree with Michkov/Carlsson, not so sure about Reinbacher with our pick if it's outside the top-4.

Reinbacher's the type of player I'd love to pick with Florida's first, honestly.
 
The top-4 is pretty much set: Bedard, Fantilli, Carlsson, Michkov, whatever order you want them in.

After that, though, it's pretty much up in the air. A top-4 pick would absolutely be ideal. At 5, unless the teams in the top-4 are scared of Russians, the decision gets a lot more difficult.

Sabres had Covid too and still couldn't make it.
