This race was always going to go to the wire.
We were all hyped up from the home crowd and then got 5 out of 6 next games on the road and played poorly. But after that 6 of next 9 are at home. Crowd will do their best to pump them up.

We’ve not been good on the road since the break, only 3 wins in 10 games. Only loss at home has been against Colorado in OT.

Lays squarely on pretty much everyone. Pretty amazing that we’re even in that spot this season. And i would never that our best pending UFA down the stretch would have been Dvorak.
If they find a second line center, with the other adds coming, and Newhook on the 3rd line, they’re a 95-100 pt. team next season.

We've been trying to find 1-2C for close to 3 decades now.....
I'm not too confident about our chances to all of a sudden find one this summer.
It's gonna be a reclamation project like Dach, or a passed his prime player like Duchene.
Unfortunately, we still need to draft that center, unless management is ready to trade guys like Guhle, Reinbacher, Caufield to get that 2C.
We did, last year. But he's not ready for the NHL yet.
